Chauncey Smith, DVM
Dr. Chauncey of The Equine Veterinary Clinic of Tucson is a general practitioner that practices mainly sports medicine and emergency work. Dr. Chauncey is a native of Tucson that received his undergraduate degree from the University of Arizona. During his youth he was an avid equestrian in the area that received national accolades in the hunter jumper circuit. Dr. Chauncey completed his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree at The Ohio State University where he worked multiple years in the equine ICU. After graduation he began working as a general practitioner at Cleveland Equine Clinic in Northeast Ohio where he received guidance from some of the leaders in the sport horse industry. Dr. Chauncey is very excited to continue his career as an equine veterinarian in Tucson servicing the animals that have given him so much.
